I purchased 3 African Ruby items the beginning of February with the “live” hosts telling everyone they would arrive before Valentines Day. Did they arrive in time?

Nope. Called Customer Service and they apologized, could give no good reason as to why my items did not arrive.He told me he would reship the 3 items by 2-Day Express. They arrived almost 2 weeks later. While I was waiting I researched African Ruby (Fissure Filled) which is what Shop LC sells.

Everything I read said it is filled with glass and worthless. I have sent messages to “live” host when this gem was on the air and have asked what Fissure Filled means. I have been ignored. Am furious as these were not inexpensive items.

So I spoke with very rude man in Customer Service today who continually cut me off and would not listen. He informed me that I could return the items and pay shipping, which I expected.BUT then he adds I would also have to pay a 25% Restocking Fee FOR EACH ITEM! Seriously? So buying with Budget Pay allows you to pay to look at the item in person should you decide you don’t like it and want to send it back, but forget about getting any kind of refund because the 25% Restock Fee will eat that up.

So, in essence, I bought expensive jewelry for gifts that did not arrive in time, the “resent” items arrived too late and when I send them back I will receive no refund at all because I bought them using Budget Pay and the restock fees will eat up those down payments.

I have given this company my money and will end up with nothing in return. Having spent thousands with ShopLC, I will not be returning and will be speaking with BBB.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Yep i’m at that point too. Very tired of paying too much for jewelry that’s not worth it !

Worse yet is that the prongs are so thin and sharp they cut people, ruin clothing, and make for a ring with no stones and *** boy isn’t that pretty!? Not...

they also don't tell you they charge you 5.99 for the shipping label and 25 % restocking fee. they started out good but they have gotten greedy and it shows

I read the response from Stephanie L and received a phone message from a man named Chris, asking me to call him back. I tried calling yesterday, Stephanie L would not come to the phone and Chris hadn’t come into work yet.

So I left a message asking for a call back.

Neither one has returned my call. I have also filed a complaint with BBB.

Yep ME TOO!!! BBB tired of getting poor product, Bought a ring online...

it is bad, they kept releasing my sz of that ring in auctions but won’t replace mine?! Had a week! I’ve spent many THOUSANDS of $$$$$ over the last 6 years.
